Alfresco is the core component and a repository for managing unstructured data from every source.

When we implement a DMS / ECM solution we try to develop components and tools which can be reused for other projects and solutions. Based on this concept we can do the implementation fast and efficient. In the past we developed tools for PDF, PDF/A, scan, document convert, OCR, metadata extraction, digital signature... which we can use or customize for new projects.

Contracts management - Solution to manage contracts

Scan contracts, OCR process scanned contracts to searchable PDF, Profiler with documents preview to add metadata and export the PDF to Alfresco, Create records folder, Stamp the records number to the PDF, Add categories for access via “virtual folders”, Set a reminder / expiry date and responsible person(s) for the contract. Add documents links to the expired and reminder dates to the calendars of the responsible users. Sends out e-mails to inform the responsible users about reminders and expiry of contracts. Search for contracts via metadata and full text. Use contracts folder to add additional documents. Restrict access by the use of folder permissions.

Used components: Alfresco documents repository, ifresco client, AutoOCR – OCR processing to create searchable PDF´s, Profiler – to preview the document and to add metadata and categories and upload the document to Alfresco, Reminder – check dates, display them on a calendar, send reminder e-mails.

Press archive – solution to manage press articles

Scan press clippings in a batch, split to single documents, name the documents, Use OCR to create searchable PDF, Add metadata, Export to Alfresco, Search for press clippings via metadata and full text. Select multiple press articles – create a single merged PDF for e-mail or printout.

Used components: Alfresco documents repository, ifresco client, DirectScan – Scan documents from TWAIN devices as a batch, Split&Rename – to split and name the press articles, export to Alfresco by the use of a customized documents profile. OCR process the scanned press articles to searchable PDF during the upload process.
